<description><![CDATA[ <p><strong>A flow of actions</strong><strong><br /></strong>Bellevue Lunch Theatre and 't Barre Land theatre company present <em>Seks</em><em> (Sex), a series of lunchtime performances by</em><em> </em>Merel de Groot.<br /><em>Seks </em><em>runs daily (except Saturday and Monday) from</em><em> </em>Tuesday 21 September to Sunday 10 October in Bellevue's Paloni Theatre.<br /><br />Merel de Groot is making <em>Seks</em> together with a visual artist, actors and a musician. It is a series of fifteen performances, portraying everyday situations. The creation of a shared place. Each performance in the series is a one-off.<br /><br />Purchase a single ticket and you are welcome to come and watch <em>Seks</em> as many times as you like number of times: hand in your ticket at the box-office after the performance and you will receive a new ticket.<strong><br /></strong><br />Merel de Groot's theatrical work is at the cusp of theatre and visual art. Her earlier work <em>Tot de Wereld</em><em> (To the World) was also performed at </em><em>Bellevue</em><em>. <title>Adelheid Roosen Ambassador for the Protection of Women</title>

<description><![CDATA[ <p>Adelheid was adopted by Het Toevluchtsoord women's shelter in Groningen for 2010. She went through the same intake procedure as the other women who stay there: she lived and worked in the same room, benefited from the same effective security and gathered the stories from the women on her corridor. These stories were used for Zina's new production <em>Zina neemt de Wijk</em>&nbsp; (Zina Takes the Neighbourhood), which was performed from 27 May to 5 June 2000 in the Machinefabriek.<br /><br /><em>"Domestic violence is a kind of drama that's beyond the grasp of my theatrical mind. There are other ways to touch each other."<br /><br /></em>In her role as ambassador Adelheid Roosen is supporting the protection of women and initiating campaigns against domestic violence such as <em>Zet huiselijk geweld buitenspel</em><em> &nbsp;(Red Card for Domestic Violence)</em><em> </em>during the World Cup and she called upon all men to, <em>'Tackle men who beat women!'</em></p> ]]></description>
