The "Dzikr Ad-Dourani"

Freely translated as the Whirling Commemoration in submission to the Hand of God.

In the spiritual world the movement of the "Dzikr Ad-Dourani" is called the "Haqqani Step" and translates as: "He who has surrender him self complete in the secret Soul of the Absolute True of God".

This is the path that the dervish follows, for it is in the heart of the dervish that his Beloved dwells. After the consecration by his Grandmaster the dervish will begin to whirl. Commemorating the whirling is called "Sema" or "Sama". The dervish will whirl around his heart with his right hand opened to heaven in order to receive Gods Love and his left hand opened to the earth to pass on Gods Love. Love will enter through the right hand of the dervish and as it happens with the pilgrims who revolve around the Holy Ka’aba seven times thus this Love will whirl seven times around the heart of the dervish for it is in the heart of the dervish that God dwells. Then Gods Light will be passed on from his heart through his left hand to whoever or whatever may be present. The dervish is the recipient who passes on everything.

The Soul of the dervish is with God in heaven, his outward appearance is with the people but his inner self with God. This Nur, Divine Light, is the bearer of infinite openings of Gods Love. Like the rays from the sun and for the dervish the best rays are the rays of Divine Love coming from his Beloved.

Nothing moves without divine power. No object can stand without six equal forces. There is another power making the atom move. It is obedient to it's Creator's will. From the smallest thing to the largest; everything is moving according to the Will of it's Creator. Everyone is a unit. There is not two of anything. Everyone is in a private situation. Among millions of men and women, everyone is in a private circle, from their birthday to their last day, their death day: a circle. Everyone's circle is different. Everyone is moving in a special circle. We call it 'destination' and they are all different. They are all arranged and prepared. It is a perfect foundation; all destinations are perfect. This perfection is from Allah Almighty's perfection. According to the light of your faith, power will be granted and appear to you. You may be looking and seeing some realities, maybe 1%, maybe more. We are in need of more lights and faith. Everyone has been granted 'iman', faith, everyone knows what it is but very few people may enter the inner faith, like Buckingham Palace, it is only for a few select people. It is an order from Allah Almighty to see reality. Work on 'La illah illallah' (The only reality is God). The 'sema' (whirling ritual)is for Allah.

What Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Adil al Haqqani (grandmaster of all the sufi ways)  said about Maulana Rumi:

I begin with His sublime name,

Maulana is the high minded person

who makes the hearts of the people fruitful

with Divine Love and sympathy.

I introduce him to you and show my respect.

Thus I begin my words.

He is The One who is,

Whose absence does not exist,

It is Him, I love and Him I praise.

It is His path that I have chosen,

It is to His path that I have turned my face,

Everybody has somebody whom he loves,

The One I love is the Eternal Beloved,

He is the One whom I love,

He is so radiant

And so worthy of respect,

Those who love Him,

Are the immortal lovers,

He is He,

He is also He,

They are also He,

This is a mystery,

If you possess Love,

you will understand this,

This is what the Maulanas understand,

For others it is forbidden.
